What we finance, and who funds it
We arrange roofing equipment financing through major Canadian banks and specialised leasing institutions. Hot air welders and kettles, material hoists, conveyors and cranes, roofing trucks, dumps and trailers, safety systems, anchors and guardrail, and tear-off and debris handling equipment all qualify, new or used. A crew package can be financed as a unit, since a hoist without a truck to carry it and a dump to clear the tear-off does not put a roof on anything.
A short season carrying a full year of cost
Roofing in most of Canada works a compressed window, and in that window the equipment runs daily while the payments on it run all twelve months. Seasonal structures are designed for exactly this: weight the schedule toward the months the crews are on roofs and lighten it through the freeze. That alignment is the single most useful thing financing does for this trade.
Safety equipment is a condition of bidding
Fall protection is not optional equipment in roofing; it is a prerequisite for the jobsite, the insurance and increasingly the tender itself. General contractors ask for documented systems before a sub is approved. Financing lets a contractor equip to that standard immediately rather than buying anchors and guardrail a job at a time out of progress draws.
Material handling is where the labour cost goes
The hours on a commercial roof are dominated by getting material up and debris down. A hoist or conveyor changes the crew size needed for the same deck, which is a labour saving that can be measured against the payment directly rather than argued in general terms. Applications above $250,000 require financial statements. List the kit and the roofs it will serve, and the schedule comes back weighted to the season you actually work.
