What we finance, and who funds it
We arrange commercial truck financing through a network of major Canadian banks and specialised leasing institutions, then present you with the structure that fits your routes and revenue. New or used, from a dealer or a private sale, highway tractors, day cabs, straight trucks, box trucks, tow trucks and dump trucks all qualify. Owner-operators buying a first truck are welcome: startup structures exist for exactly that situation, and we walk you through what lenders want to see. Established carriers adding units can use sale-leaseback on trucks they already own to free up cash for the next purchase.
The compliance load trucking carries
Trucking also carries a compliance load that other industries do not. Electronic logging device requirements, provincial safety inspections and emissions standards all push carriers toward newer equipment, and financing is how most of them get there without gutting cash reserves. A newer truck typically means less downtime, better fuel economy and easier driver recruitment, and those gains show up against a predictable monthly payment rather than a lump sum.
Payments that follow your freight
Payments can follow your business. Seasonal structures suit carriers whose freight peaks in certain months, and terms flex with how hard the truck will work. Applications above $250,000 require financial statements; below that, the paperwork is lighter. Both lease structures stay on the table, and the choice usually comes down to tax treatment and how long you plan to keep the unit, which we review with you before anything is signed. Request a quote with the truck you have in mind, and we come back with real terms from lenders who finance trucking every day, not a generic rate sheet.
Dump truck financing
A dump truck earns by the load, which makes it one of the easier units to structure financing around: the payment can be set against a known hauling schedule rather than a guess. Tandem and tri-axle units carry very different price tags and very different duty cycles, and the box, hoist and tarp system are part of the purchase rather than accessories to it. Dump truck financing covers the chassis and the body together, which matters when the truck is spec'd for a specific aggregate or construction contract. Seasonal structures suit operators whose hauling concentrates in the construction months.
